The building is beautiful and the 14-foot ceilings really make it expansive and a comfortable space to live in. The shuttle to the Path Station is convenient. It’s only a ten minute walk to the train station if you miss the shuttle.
Now, for the bad part. A year ago, there was a massive flood in Tower 1 which destroyed the lounge space called Canco Chill. The lounge space has been unavailable for use since the flood while it's being renovated, but we’re still paying for the amenity. One of the Garage Doors was broken for well over 4 months. That gives you an idea of how fast things move here. The staff is constantly being replaced. It seems we have a new porter every month. Bikes were also stolen from a caged section in the garage. The windows in the apartment are poorly insulated. Average electricity bills range between $250-$300 during cold/hot months. Although the space is beautiful, the tenants are terrible. In my time there, there were multiple visits by the police for domestic issues from various residents. It was a common occurrence to see grown women yell at each other over their dogs and/or kids. I’ve even seen them spit in each other’s faces. I have been in other living situations, where most of the tenants are young college grads, and I’ve never seen anything quite like this from grown folks. People here are self-entitled, rude, and just plain old jerks. People are constantly bickering with each other and are just so miserable they take it out on the staff and concierge. People are also constantly parking in other people’s reserved parking spaces in the Garage. Canco lofts? More like Canco Mental Asylum…

Very nice, my brother moved here from Dallas and we helped him move in and were very impressed. It's in an area that has a lot of culture, specifically Indian, which I love. It's also within walking distance of the subway, which was very convenient. The apartments themselves are very modern with a lot of amenities, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the grounds are very well kept. I would recommend it if you are looking for a place in Jersey City or the surrounding area.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Regularly saw that place from the Pulaski and thought to myself, who would want to live there with such awful, industrial views? But I have to admit, once I took a tour of the place I've changed my tune. The location is still really inconvenient to PATH, and I'm sure the shuttle service they offer is a pain. That said, the apartments themselves are huge and generally well thought out. Massively high ceilings. Some cool layouts. And well the views... some had really no view at all (looking into the neighboring building) or of downtown JC, or the aforementioned industrial wasteland. But the wasteland view was kind of cool in a very strange way. The couple I was viewing the apts with agreed. Anyway, thumbs up overall. Glad I had a look.

We moved into our GIANT 2 bedroom corner unit in September and have been loving it ever since.. The huge windows and 14' cielings are really awesome and we're loving having a terrace. (You could almost fit our old Manhattan apartment on our new terrace!) We used to live in a really pretentious Wall Street apartment and I have to say that we get better service from our Canco staff. Oh, and the neighborhood is fine.
