I like that you can watch the dogs via the website while they are in the play areas. The people who work there are very nice and make me feel like they really, really care about my dogs. I am glad to have found this place. They do come home smelly, with dirty feet, and sometimes scratches but they were just playing with about 50 other dogs! But because I can watch them at camp while I am at work, I know they are not being neglected or mistreated.

I have loved boarding my 5 lb Papillon here. The staff seems to genuinely care about my dog, remembering all sorts of things about her between visits, and are excited when she comes in for a stay. Once, I got to Bow-Wow before it opened, and one of the employees, who was also there early, volunteered to check her in for me so I could go catch my plane. It was a cold morning, so he zipped her up in his hoodie. That is such a beautiful memory for me.

In response to some of these other reviews, my dog is a fragile breed, and yet has always come back in great shape, happy and perky, and well bathed (if I ordered a bath). And yes, the owner does ask you if you would like services like nail-clipping, but I have never felt like he was pushy... just matter-of-fact.

One more note: I picked up my dog here a few hours before Hurricane Sandy hit in 2012, and the crew was clearly well-prepared to handle the evacuation. I believe that they moved all of the dogs up to the second floor, and team members spent the night with them. While I was glad to have my pup with me during the whole Sandy situation, I feel confident that Bow-Wow would have been a fine place for her to weather it out, too. Haha no pun intended!

Camp Bow Wow is the best. It's caring staff takes the time to talk me about my dog's affect. Wilbur cannot wait to go each week. We have used CBW for half day and for week long stays and have loved the care they show our little pup. The cameras are a great way to see our little guy while we are on vacation. I recommend CBW and continue to recommend CBW! Steve, Omar, and the rest of the staff truly are amazing!

Man, being a dog owner in NYC is tough. Luckily I came across Camp Bow Wow which has been a God send. I have a 5.5 yrs. old English bulldog that's been to a LOT of daycares from CT, TriBeCa, Kips Bay, DUMBO, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and LIC and LB is very particular about where he likes to hang on a daily basis and who he likes to have take care of him. And I have to say that both LB and I've been pretty impressed with CBW, it's mgmt, and its staff. They truly care about the well being of your furry friend, and LB (my very spoiled bulldog) is a living testament. The 10k sq ft facility is a rarified opportunity that allows my boy to stretch his legs without being cramped in a tiny space (like his last daycare that really stressed him out); he gets a complimentary wipe down ( even every single facial fold) at the end of every stay; and the staff and mgmt really care for the dogs all day long (which you can see for yourself each and every moment via free live cams). I'm sorry that others have had bad experiences here, but if we are really honest w/ ourselves, it's inevitable. Keeping the big picture in mind, CBW provides a great service, at a fair price and I don't mind going 30 min out of my routine for him to go here. I wouldn't hesitate recommending CBW LIC to anyone.

Love bringing my dog Sampson here. He's very high energy, and I work weird hours, so I bring him here when he needs a good day of playtime to tire him out. I've also boarded him here a bunch of times while I have gone away on vacation. The staff is friendly, and my dog LOVES it. He practically pulls me down the street into the building as soon as he sees it. They have even taken to putting him in a separate pen with his other high energy friends (he has a group of buddies there), which he loves. Great place.
