This place has a poor understanding of good customer service, my sister ordered two bubble tea lattes, we were both met with over iced bubble teas and when she explained that she expected a hot beverage, the cashier and barista both played dumb stating that you request it when you order, now the last time I checked the menu it said "bubble tea latte," not iced and no indication of any such request, then to add insult to injury, they gave an insincere apology and neglected to offer to remake the drink at the very least nor did they offer a refund and nothing is worse than a product you did not order and bad customer service with it.

The wifi is terrible here but not as slow as bean& bean. If you have time Warner cable account, just log into TWCWifi instead. I had the bingsoo here last year and remembered it being expensive with a load of ice inside. This time I had the honey bread with walnut and banana. It was yummy. I also ordered The ice tea lemonade. It was super sour. Not recommended if you are not a fan of really sour stuff.
The single tables here are pretty uncomfortable so if you are looking to study here.. I do not recommend. I liked the group tables in the back better which were a bit higher.. But there was a sign that says these tables are reserved for groups after 3pm. It was pretty loud here on a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend this place if you just wanted to grab dessert / coffee, eat, chat and leave. I also had a really hard time looking for outlets here to charge my laptop... There were barely any, unless it's hidden somewhere on the walls....or on the floors..

Great seating areas. Delicious coffee. Outdoor seating is a great plus.

Caffe Bene makes food that looks good, but is average in terms of taste and service. For example, I ordered the inappropriately-named "Oriental Sandwich" and found the bun was soggy and had lost its texture -- also, there was only three pieces of the "oriental" shrimp -- very stingy for an $8 sandwich. When I asked for some honey for my drink, the server initially refused. Then, when I asked again, she wanted to charge me for the drop of honey. Coffee was expensive and bitter. The faux library walls had several "CCTV in operation" signs -- just like home, where l let all my guests know in advance they are under surveillance. Overall, a poorly executed and managed chain store franchise that treats it's customers like potential criminals and overcharges for badly served and superficially pretty food.
