Went with my husband for the first time yesterday. I was not pleased to see that they were sporting a "Je Suis Charlie" sign. I don't think that political stance should be displayed in a restaurant especially since it might offend others. I found the price of the food to also be far too expensive for what you go seeing as it was something I could have made at home with equal execution for 1/4 the price. One waffle, 2 espresso drinks and a croissant sandwich that came with a mini fruit cup (NO OTHER ITEMS INCLUDED AS SIDES) came to $37.00.

I am appalled by the service in this cafe. The worst experience I ever had. The food, butternutsquash soup and a pea soup were absolutely tasteless. Cappucino coffee was served almost at the same time as soup, before my entree. THE CUP THE COFFEE WAS SERVED IN HAD LIPSTICK ON IT. At this point I decided I was done with this place and asked for the bill. Not only was I charged for the coffee I had sent back in a dirty cup, but I had to listen to the insults of the waitress/cashier. She was completely unapologetic about the situation, and demanded my name to blacklist me from the restaurant (which you can bet I would NEVER return to). Unfortunately I was so dumbfounded by her response, I did not ask for her name. I cannot imagine what kind of owner would run a business by insulting its customers. If I had the option of giving zero stars I would.

The lamb with garlic was tender and flavorful. Buckwheat crepes (gallettes) were wonderful. Salads just-picked fresh with a perfect dijon/balsamic vinaigrette house dressing. And completed with the best cup of coffee I've had in months! Atmosphere is casual. Service was prompt but unhurried. The waiter was friendly almost to a fault, and the owner very gracious. Portions and prices are moderate. Decor and recorded music reminiscent of Paris, overall a great experience. A find. (Shhhh... tell no one!)

I eat lunch here at least once a week and love it. The galettes are a must try, but rotate with omelettes, sandwiches and salades because it would be a crime to miss them. They also make wonderful drinks like the Perrier with syrup and a strawberry milkshake. Lattes and specialty coffess frequently bring me back in the mid afternoon. I don't usually eat desserts, but what I have tried are also wonderful. My ambition is to find enough time for a crepe some afternoon. Can't rave enough....

Always taking friends here to experience the great food and ambience of this small cafe. In warm weather, you can dine outside. I haven't tried the dinner entrees which look appealing because I like the crepes so much. Last time I was here, although not a vegetarian, I again had my favorite cheese and spinach buckwheat galette and my friend had the tofu, red pepper, cheese and we shared a dessert crepes with raspberry filling and cranberry and orange sauce. The service has always been excellent.
