The one star is for the lamb tangine and the hot cider and the service..

Got there with a friend of mine at around 11:45pm, and the waitress started pressuring us that the kitchen closes @12:30... Even when my response was that I called in advance to check when tag kitchen will be closing she and the hostess still continued to harass us like every five minutes....

No! They were not helpful or patient with helping me choose from the menu... we finally decided to go for the lamb tangine and couscous and a hot cider,

The couscous was dry, we had to ask for a broth to pour on top, the lamb lacked a lot in flavour, and the cider was one of the worst I have ever had....

Ps. I wish I knew why poeple rave about this place.... The only good thing here is there WiFi.

Such great food and reasonably priced. We had the Hummus (smooth and delicious and much better than you expect), the falafels (melt in your mouth and great with the mint sauce), tandoori lamb chops (the meat falls of the bone, just delicious), Baclava and cheese cake desserts (perfectly made and just the right amount of indulgence). Also had the Tequila Tipple cocktail and was so impressed by the spicy infusion of tequila and something sweet. I highly recommend this restaurant in both WIlliamsburg and East Village. The prices are low for excellent food and the service is fantastic.

All their food is amazing. But when they opened the location they found an old tandoori oven and went with it. Even though they're known for their Moroccan food try the few tandoori dishes on the menu.

Lotsa unique flavors ... Awesome sausage ,,,,,great bread,,,, wait staff typical wanna be hypter trash w noses held high for no reason and I even liked that to add to the atmosphere

I sat out in the beautiful, sunny back part with a friend for weekday brunch. The service was excellent, the coffee was excellent, the food was excellent. Such a beautiful arrangement of flavors and experience! Thank you!
