- Excellent #23332
Food:
- Paratha - layered, fresh, buttery smell, but not too oily, good bread. Came with spiced cabbage, sour cream, and spiced potatoes, all very good. With exception of the sour cream, not easily dippable items
- Baked halumi - 3 slices of the baked cheese - salted sleep milk, very good. Some pesto, a skewer of tomato, pepper, cherry tomato, a few points of pita
- Moroccan mint tea - served in a nice large metal pot. It is served very sweetened. A refill with additional hot water is still fairly flavorful. I think it may be traditional to have it at the end, so if you want it with your meal, you should specify that.
- Tagine lamb - large lamb shank, extremely tender meat fall off bone; good to split if you get a couple of apps also; Casablanca flavor - sweet sauce - raisin, chickpeas, caramelized onions
Comes with a small side of couscous
- Couscous side - not sure if it was because we got the entree with casablanca sauce or coincidence, but the couscous was also served with the same type of sauce.

Good service, quick, friendly

Dim, cozy atmosphere with regional pieces of decor.

One of the best places I've been to. Food is great. We ordered grilled salmon, a mixed grill platter and red snapper with seafood. All three dishes were just amazing! And make sure to try their home-made lemonade - it's a right mixture of tangy and sweet and comes with mint - think of a virgin mojito type of drink.

AVOID AVOID AVOID, Disgraceful, they should be ashamed.

The service is slow and inattentive. Took 30 minutes to get menus and water, another 30 to get our drinks and it's been 45minutes and we're still waiting for our food, we ordered a hummus plate (requested it come out first because the waitress said it would be way faster.) a chicken grill and a Greek salad.

We ended up getting the food less the hummus plate 45 minutes later and were asked if we still wanted it.

People who arrived 25 minutes after us had food before we had drinks.

We came here once before and said never again, now we remember why.

Only came here because cafe Orlin was closed.

NEVER AGAIN EVER.

The Williamsburg location is awesome but who wants to go all the way there for lunch/dinner.

We contemplated walking out about three times and saw a couple complain and walk out about 10 minutes into not getting menus.

I guess we have a lot more patience.

Do yourself a favor and avoid the aggravation because we were furious.

Lighted, happy, and with such a good food. The food isn’t the only reason I will come to Mogador. The whole vibe here is positive and happy. Not like the dark restaurants which are too full of nothing, that make you feel uncomfortable in your seat. So the visit goes far beyond the food. But now to the food: Special, tasty, home-made-high-quality. Take the salads, many of them.
