Cafe Duke

My Italian wrap sandwich was good but the employee informed me they did not have black olives to put on the sandwich. When I asked him if it came with a pickle he picked up a baggied pickle from the counter and tossed it towards me. The cashier was curt. Not impressed. I traveled with my cousin and a friend and they ordered corned beef sandwiches. The rye bread was nice and fresh but the corned beef was heated up on a grill and left on too long. End result, dried up and unappetizing. Then I went to the ladies room where the sign stated not to throw toilet paper in the toilet. You would think that with this mandate someone would empty the small waste receptacle often, but no, it was overflowing on to the floor with USED toilet paper. Where is the health department when you need them?

More like cafe puke!!! The food was so old and gross and soooo overpriced! And the bathroom floor was covered in urine and marker graffiti! Like whaaaaaatt?? Im never going there again!

I gave 5 stars because I need everyone to read this and give me a feed back. Did anyone ever had a problem with credit cards over there? Did someone else made purchases on your card after you have used your credit card on the Duke Cafe?I really need to know that.

Pros ... clean, well staffed during busy hours to process check outs, variety of options ranging from Asian food to Pizza, food quality pretty good given that it is a deli.

Cons ... a bit pricey, but expected given its location in mid-town.
