Always nice to us, but has to be more willing on the price

Optimum is the biggest rip off company I have encountered. And that's saying a lot given my experience with Time Warner. I signed up in May for just internet, and they automatically signed me up for a double play promotion without my permission. So I was being charged a couple extra bucks in taxes every month, though the the base rate was about the same, but it wasn't worth my time to argue with them. Then at 6 months my bill went up $13--a 25% increase! ...within 6 months a 25% increase is ridiculous! And when I called to complain and remove the phone service I had never signed up for, they said I just missed another promotion on internet but they couldn't do anything for me. Also I found out my friend in another part of Brooklyn pays over $20 less per month. How is that even possible??

This store is hidden away and thank God it is. I NEVER had a bad experience here and it's the only cable or satellite provider that has an ACTUAL payment center. When I have satellite I had to jump through hoops just to make a payment. The biggest reason I switched back was because I can pay in person. The service people are agreeable and patient and since there is always several open windows, you're never in there more than ten minutes.

The review system is for reviewing the location and staff not the service of the company.

As for this location I have always had good service here. Last time I was here I asked to switch out the free router supplied with my service and received a new one in just a few minutes. The lady was very helpful and switched it out for one that, by reviews on the web, was much better.

The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. They have many staffed windows so the line goes rather quick. But use the bathroom before going as they do not have a public one.
