Burrito Poblano

Good Mexican. Parking is a bit of a pain though. Small place.

I lived in California for a few years and I got spoiled by all the great Mexican food available there. This is the first authentic tasting Mexican restaurant I have found in Westchester. A foodie friend took us here and now we are regulars. The pica de gallo is delicious and fresh but if there was one thing that I would say could improve it would be to warm up the tortilla chips. The tacos are fresh and tasty but I prefer the hard shells while my bf likes the soft shelled ones. We also love the quesadillas and the burritos, which are are huge. Plenty of vegetarian choices here, I like the guacamole burrito. Beer is the way to go, even if you are not a beer aficionado. They serve it in chilled glasses and the combination of the spicy food and the cold beer is super refreshing. Plenty of soccer fans here loving the big screen tv and their enthusiasm is contagious. If I lived closer, I would be here every night!

The experience was alright, but nothing spectacular. Our food was ready pretty quickly. We ordered a cheese/onion/jalapeno quesadilla and a chicken burrito. The quesadilla was good, but greasy. The burrito was sort of bland and the chicken was dry and very overcooked. I'd rather have stood in line for a burrito at Chipotle. The establishment was clean and nicely decorated. My only real complaint would be that the other waiter (who didn't have any tables to wait on) was watching loud videos on his phone of what sounded like people fighting.

Food was absolutely great. Staff was very nice and the food came out in about 7 seconds. This is our new favorite Mexican food place.
