We love this place! True, legit, real soul food. We've yet to find a place that does it as well as Burgandy's. The cornbread on its own is to die for...buttery and the perfect golden brown. The ribs...don't get us started on those ribs! Smothered in BBQ sauce and they fall off the bone. What more can you ask for? Maybe some creamy mac 'n cheese and crispy fried plantains? They got you covered. 4 stars because sometimes they forget to put things in the bag...like our beloved cornbread. We'll be back!

As a student at St. John's U, this place has been our diamond in the rough for a home cooked meal that'll leave you with the itis, talk about real soul food. From the mac and cheese, to the cornbread, fish fridays and the fried or jerk chicken. Burgandy's never disappoints!

Great food, sociable staff and not too long a wait. What more could I asked for. It is worth noting that they make fried chicken go order now rather than having it pre-prepared.
