If ever you need flowers for any reason this is the place to go. The young lady, LORRAINE, who owns and works in the shop is absolutely remarkable. Her knowledge of floral arrangements for any occasion is simply incredible. I went in,having never been there before, and wanted to buy some flowers for a woman for our third date . She knew exactly what to do. She made up a most beautiful bouquet that she said was appropiate for a third date . My date loved the flowers so much I recieved a big hug and a kiss and a job well done. Lorraine is as sweet as pie and a real gentle soul. Go in one day and meet her and find out for your self. AMEN

I once bought a dozen roses from this place. They were fresh and nice. I went in there on Valentine's Day. I was told one price for long stem roses over the phone only to find out that it was for short stem roses. The long stems were astronomically high. Maybe 12-14 dollars a piece. The price gouging on Valentines Day was obvious. I basically had to walk out. My wife's brother passed away Saturday night. She stayed at his bedside until he took his last breath at 9:00 PM 4/14/12. Days prior, he whispered to me that I get her flowers after he passed. I called up Bud's and Baskets. I guess Lorianne was the one who answered. She said that she would make me a dozen roses if I got there before six. I told her that I would be there in ten minutes at 5:50 PM. She said they would be ready but that she had a funeral to rush to so that I should get in here quickly. I was there in minutes. She said the roses were from Peru or some place like that. They looked like they had a long trip. I asked why they had dark dried up pedals. She said that that was called the something pedal. Wow, I never saw that in all of my years. A big name for a dried up flower pedal. She then told me that she was sorry but that she could not make the bouquet now because she would have to take the time to pull the dried pedals off. That they are normal but take time to do correctly. This is the second time that I have been there and the second time that I left disappointed. Both times, I was lured in with a false promise. Losing a family member was difficult this weekend. Trying to go back to the same disappointing place a second time is my fault. I am never rude to anyone. I found it difficult to tell her that I would never be coming back in there again and that her wasting my time was a disgrace. Yet I told her. My poor 9 year old daughter who was with me cried in the car because she thought that her mother was going to get flowers from Uncle David which would cheer her up. Don't waste your time here. The quality of the flowers are hit and miss. The information on the phone is never what it is when you arrive there. She did offer to deliver them later but we were going out so it was either me getting them right there as promised over the phone or not at all. Again, don't take a chance on the quality and promised time. Go elsewhere. This is not a holiday. Any place with any measure of quality would be able to sell a dozen fresh roses on the spot.
