Budget Truck Rental

I had a great experience. The attendant, Tony, was courteous and helpful. The truck was ready immediately, and the return was simple.

The close too early on SUNDAY. Otherwise it a great company.

This place is horrible. Almost every single worker is completely incompetent, wildly unsympathetic, and obnoxious. There are a couple of choice people that definitely know what they're doing (the security guard during the evening shift is quite helpful!), but Budget offers some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. No one answers the phone, your reservations at Budget National mean NOTHING to them, they take absolutely forever to look anything up and consistently cannot find any information about reservations I've made months in advance, they are condescending, and almost tried to charge me twice for the same vehicle! If you have to go here (as many NYU film students may), go in prepared to talk a lot and not receive the car you reserved. And be prepared to deflect a heavy stream of bureaucratic red tape and bullshit.

I don't understand how this place is still in business. Totally unresponsive to the smallest customer needs and nobody answering the phone all day Friday and Saturday. Budget should take their dealer license away as it's damaging the brand.

they are understaffed, and really ought to have a drop box for late night return. their policy about seeing a gas receipt, or charging $50.00 is down right silly.
