Budget Truck Rental

Incomprehensibly bad customer service. I've using Budget at another location for 10 years. They have since closed and I hoped to develop a new relationship here, which will sadly not be the case. I'm not sure how any business can afford to ignore customers while they spend 15 minutes sorting out their own in-house administrative problems (which had nothing to do with the truck I wanted to rent.)

My roommate and I needed to pick up some furniture to bring to our apartment and compared U-Haul and Budget Truck. Budget Truck looked cheaper, so we booked a truck online.

The service was awful. The guy at this location we went to wouldn't even look us in the eyes. We would ask him a question and he would answer while texting/playing games or whatever on his phone. Then when we proceeded to return the truck, he was extremely nitpicky with the gas and went so far as to give us directions in the opposite direction of the gas station, so we wasted two more miles just looking for gas.

Decent prices & discounts though. Just make sure to know where the gas station is!
