I visited friends down the street many times on Prospect Pl and had occasion to sit in this park often. Being from Philly I was amazed at how well kept this park is considering how many use it. In Philly, parks in Black Neighborhoods are neglected by the city of Philadelphia. Grass cut, bathroom working, all apparatus in working order, only in the fantasies of Philly politicians. Despite the fact NY is many times bigger your streets are swept 4 times a week counting both sides but I digress. I LOVE THIS PARK. I LOVE NY.

One of the biggest parks I've ever been in, so much to do when alone even with friends and family!

Worst part of this park is the sore losers at the basketball court.
Hidden skatepark and handball on the St. Marks side.
During school days, it's overrun with school kids on recess. However it's a great park! I love it!
