Brooklyn Kolache Co.

I love studying here every chance I get. The entire barista staff is extremely friendly, and more often than not, you will find the owner, who is quite passionate about the kolaches that are made fresh each and every day, stopping by to check in on all of the scrumptious goodies.

Also, there have been some fantastic changes that have taken place at BKC over the course of the past few months. Amazing renovations have been made to the back room to make it a friendlier environment conducive to getting work done or meeting other BKC regulars.

I just wish it could be amazing weather year 'round because there is nothing better than having one of BKC's specialty kolaches: the love dip, the hometown bbq, the chorizo/egg/cheese, the pumpkin and sweet cheese, etc - in the back garden.

I simply cannot get enough of this place! I highly recommend Brooklyn Kolache Co. for anyone who is looking for amazing coffee and/or delicious delights who happens to live in the area, is within walking distance of the area, is within a short subway or bus ride from the area, or if you just happen to be visiting Brooklyn for a few days.

Green cozy backyard, limited wifi hours (can be a good thing), kolaches are amazing.

The Kolache's are HEAVEN. Specifically the egg & chorizo.
I got addicted a couple months back and went about once a week.
Also, the coffee is always fresh.

The only thing I would say is the chairs/benches in the back area are pretty uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to hang out here unless the patio was open. But they make up for ambience with their amazing kolaches!

As a Czechoslovakian citizen visiting this place I was very satisfied with Brooklyn kolache style.
Not only they make traditional sweet kolache, but they also make some with dairy and meat products.

Totally recommend this place for kolaches lovers.
Backyard in sunny days is great!

As an expat from Texas—USA's kolache headquarters—I truly appreciate this place. Their food, coffee and atmosphere is outstanding year round. I go there frequently, and every time I walk in I feel like I'm home.

Fun Fact: the owner is from the capital of the Lone Star State and truly makes some of the best kolaches I've ever had.
