Friendly, good selection for small store

The place isn't huge, but they pack in more stuff than you'd think possible. Also they have a basement full of stuff, so basically anything you want they have... If you're local, it beats driving all the way to Lowes.

I've shopped at Brooklyn Hardware about 6 times. I will never set foot in there again. The service was never "friendly" or helpful, but after today, it went over the top. Rather than write a book detailing the experience, let me just say that I would rather walk the 2 miles to Home Depot in 30 below weather, while freezing rain was falling, on ice covered sidewalks for a 50 cent part than ever do business with the owner/manager of this store again. And I despise Home Depot and feel guilt over not supporting neighborhood businesses.

This is a small place, but they have a lot of stuff, fair prices, and friendly service. Much better than waiting in line at Home Depot or Lowe's!
