Went there with my 8 year old son and rented bikes to ride across the Brooklyn Bridge bridge to DUMBO area.
Very helpful in fitting my son with bike and equipment.

Thi is deffinetly the best guided bike ride in new york... I have the honnor of been guided by DEBORA, whos very happy and gently.... she is an a walker wikipedia, knows everything about the monuments and about the war and foundation histories... she cyles very well and have little toys to make all more funny as.... i definetly recomend this ride if u been on new york, not just a ride, but a inteligent ride by the important views of the city...

's in a prime location... YES, though a bit difficult to actually find amidst all that seaport confusion. And don't bother calling because dude who runs the place offers NO help in locating him but rather repeat the address to you as if you were a tard.
The bikes were scarce on a Saturday. Helmets? There were none. Baskets? None. Actually everything the reservation promised, except for the bike, wasn't there. The guy was frantic and quite rude, never cracking a smile despite the very hilarious jokes my crew was cracking. Live a little dude.
"You're working alone?!" Yeh.
"So you need help?" Nah I'm good.
Whoa buddy. Hey owners- get one more employee.

I purchased the sightseeing tour however when I arrived they said the tour was cancelled and they said 'I could still just use the bike for the same time frame'. I inquired on why it was cancelled and they had no reason. WELL....I paid for a tour and ended up using their uncomfortable bike for two hours peddling around on my own. They tried to give me a really crappy bike with split seat and broken pedal but I told them I wanted a better bike. I was a little peeved at their lack of service. The bridge is quite a ride from their rental location so make sure you clearly understand how to get there. I am still glad I got to ride the bridge, even if it was on my own.

So its Summer Streets and a group of us decided to rent bikes. We rented them on their website rather than in person since it was way cheaper. 4hrs $19 when we arrived the guy was not mr cheery in the least. Friends Had to wait forever to get their bikes since he was the only worker. Shop ran out of locks and baskets. Returning the bike was an entire event also. System charged me overtime fees bc by the time he got to me it was over the timeframe. Smfh! He did however fix and take it off my bill. On a busy Saturday a business should have more than 1 worker and not run out of main items. FYI they hold your ID until you return the bike.
