Reviews to Brooklyn Bridge
Heads up to cyclists, there are only about 3 months during the year when it is safe to ride this bridge and they are all during the coldest months. It's very tempting to use the bridge to cut across lower Manhattan to the Westside Highway on my bike, and I often do despite the pedestrian overflow.
I guess what I'm saying is that the bridge is not a drag strip so please be aware of others.

Walking across this historic bridge is a must-do for N'Yawkers and tourists alike. I recommend going from Brooklyn to Manhattan so you can head straight to Chinatown or Little Italy after your stroll.
Avoid late-night.

It is absolutely beautiful! The walk, the NYC view, the amazing architecture of the bridge, people there are wonderful. And a perfect spot to propose. You can see it happen when I proposed to my wife at https://youtu.be/spannScTnlY.

The most favorite thing I did while visiting New York was walking across the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset, and that list includes the Statute of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Time Square, Empire State Building and Central Park. The views were amazing, the walk was not too much to handle, plenty of great views and a dedicated path to walk on. This is absolutely a MUST DO if you visit NYC, I cannot stress that enough.

There is something so magical about the views of Brooklyn and Manhattan as you cross over such a historical landmark. This is the perfect way to take in NYC on a sunny day anytime of the year. They have a pedestrian land and bike lane and a few areas where you can pull over to take scenic photos. The bridge is full of tourists, commuters via bike/walking, and runners at all hours it seems. You'll have to be aware of your surroundings and keep to your lane if you're a pedestrian as the bikers go at fast speeds, especially on the downward ramps.
Parts of the walkways are under construction which can make for tight turns and little space at times, but overall the experience of the bridge is worth it.
