I had a party at Chuck e cheese today, my parking ticket was punched in at 11:59 and if I leave before 3 hrs the rate would've been only $3. I left the party at 2:55 and headed to the parking machine right outside of Chuck e cheese to pay my tix. I put the tix inside the first machine, it says it's processing but right away it says that it's out of order. I go to the machine right next to it, put in my tix and it says at to pay $3. This machine would take cash so I put my credit card in. It says it processing for a few mins, since it's taking so long I pressed the cancel button, it took a few more minutes and then it says it out of order. I kept pressing the cancel button but it didn't spit out my card. However, it kept making noises as if it was going to kick it out. I noticed the button to get assistance, I pressed it and heard a re or ding saying that my call was being transfered. I waited but got no answer, so I pressed it again, and again and again with no response. Around 3:35 a car with security personnel parks next to me and I asked if they were there to help me, the guy said that is an issue for the parking dep, then he call them with his radio and told them I was in need of assistance. 5 mins later, someone answered me via the machine, I told them I have been waiting since forever and I needed help. Around 5 mins later a guy showed up and got my card and tix out, he told me to pay on that machine but when he put the tix in it was charging me $10. I explained everything to him, he said all he can do is lower it to $7, his argument was that they can't control time. I told him it wasn't fair that now I had to pay extra because of their faulty machines, he said to go down to the office and talk to the manager. When I get there I'm told there is no manager and the same guy that assisted me before ended to telling me that there was nothing they could do and that he could only bring it down to $7. I got really mad, I used the F word a few times and told him I shouldnt have to pay extra because their machines don't work. He then cursed me our saying "I don't have to f*cking help you, only reason I'm lowering it to $7 is cuz you're pregnant". So, my time and aggravation doesn't count! Also, the fact that I was overcharged because their machines are faulty! I will not be going to this mall again, if you must ho, make sure you pay with the cashier and not via those Damn machines.

I love the mall however it is very sad that you have to pay $3.00 for parking when you go there to spend your money at their stores. It is just ridiculous. All my family and relatives just found other alternatives, because we don't agree with this type of actions. They should give customer 3 hours of free parking as a token of appreciation to them. Just saying...

Who the hell thought that charging mall customers for parking would be a good idea?! The developer got away with this because it's a poor, underdeveloped neighborhood. I bet they would've never done such an idiotic, and frankly insulting, project in an affluent, suburban area.

This mall, or whatever it's called is basically a couple of giant parking garages with stores spaced out in a manner to make it a pain in the ass to get to anything. Usually, a mall makes it convenient to get from store to store to encourage people to visit as many of them as possible. Here, they apparently want to discourage you from visiting anything but the store you purposefully came for. To get from one store to another, you might have to either exit the mall and walk on the sidewalk outside until you are positioned in the area that the other store is, then reenter the mall to walk to the store, or walk from one side of a dim, enclosed garage with traffic, to the other side. Or get on the escalator for a few floors to reach the only other store reachable in the area. And unlike a regular mall, there's nothing in between. It's not like there are multi levels of stores. It's like one store is on the ground lever, and the other 3 escalators up. Perhaps, since major retail is sorely needed in the ares, the developers felt they could put in any inconveniences they want because where else would people go to shop. Or maybe, this was built to provide 2 more giant parking garages for Yankee Stadium and the retail was a second consideration, so we can just drop the stores where ever, The eagles, door and a few other artifacts from the Bronx House Of Detention is a nice touch, but either this was set up without a thought of how people are going to shop there, or the people doing it are idiots. If their hometown suburban mall was anything like this, they would probably never go there unless they needed something at a specific store, in which case, they would drive, park near that store, then leave. That doesn't work in an urban area where many people don't have cars. Basically this mall sucks big time, and that in an area that really needed it.
