yeah, its NYC = over crowded, long wait times, under staffed, and some of these employees are probably overworked.
but then again its NYPD/NYC Law, what do you expect? Their recruiting standards are low.
I feel sorry for the employees and officers that joined thinking everyone wanted to make a difference.

The state of NY can do everyone a favor by sending all their CO's and Judicial Marshals back where they came from. I can't figure out what's worse, sitting in central booking packed in a dirty nasty cell until arraignment and being treated GUILTY before being proven INNOCENT or the similar treatment defendant's are afforded walking in thru the front door and being subjected to their nasty attitudes. I can now imagine how our ancestors felt when they were wrongly accused of being a witch and sent to the London tower and tortured until they confessed. Nothing's changed much since then, everything our forefather's fought for when building this country from blood, iron, and sweat and then defending it for the chance to live freely without prejudice from their neighbors. A wish that one day every citizen of this country would no longer have to be wary of his neighbor, for fear that some crazy ruler, claiming a "Divine, God-Given Right" to own a country and all its subjects, would wake up on the wrong side of the bed and decide to punish an innocent person to fuel his own cruel, sadistic infatuations or fantasies. Nothing has changed much. Corruption still runs deep and trickles through even the farthest branches of our government just like any country since the beginning of time. All of NY's CO's should be shipped off to an island (or planet if viable) far, far, away and then nuke'd ! Corrections Officers are a rare breed of Criminals who were more than likely turned down from the police force probably due to failing the psychological exam. But since an even lower standard exists for them they are given a job. The best place for the devil to hide is with someone who does not believe he exists and the best place for a criminal to hide is within the law. Face it, no kid wakes upne day and cries excitedly to mum and dad, "I WANT TO WORK IN A PRISON AND BE A CORRECTIONAL OFFICER !!!! " No, not even close. For most its about needing to be in control and last resorts. Good Day.

Its so freaking cold in the jury auditorium people are shivering, putting their arms in their shirts, and escaping to the eating area in order to avoid the cold. Listen Bronx Criminal Court it's too freaking cold in here to concentrate on any jury stuff period.
