It's much lower now than when I was a kid..it was a real mountain then...
Fun for the whole family...try the veal.

I grew up near here, and have it give it 5 stars for the recovery mission that repurposed what was a municipal garbage dump when I was growing up. A mountain of garbage with seagulls hovering all around. To create a mountain of green that compliments Pelham Bay Park, the largest park in the city BY FAR. Not that it wouldn't be better if it wasn't here. Better for everyone that lives nearby, better for the wildlife. Better for all the waterways all over the area, right near the mountain of covered garbage. But, at least it was closed 30 years ago of so and now compliments the park it's part of.

Best landfill in NYC right in the middle of Pelham Bay Park, the biggest park in the city, still producing methane gas thirty years after they closed it. Adjacent to NYPD shooting range in Rodman's neck. Noise and lead pollution seven days a week.
