Wonderful, authentic Portuguese in the heart of downtown Jersey City. BYOB. Daily menu changes, but expect a variety of seafood, sausage, and vegetable tapas/salads. The best part of this place is the decor and service. You will feel like are dining with your extended Portuguese family! Dishes are family style, and thus sizeable and priced proportionally all things considered. There is a small outdoor patio in the front. The dining room itself is smallish, yet cozy.

Amazing food. Personable service. This place is a must! We were greeted with an amicable staff and to top it off, our dining experience was phenomenal. Tapas galore! All mouth watering dishes. Authentic Portuguese food. If you're in the area definitely stop by. Must eat!

Some of the most amazing Portuguese food I've had outside of being back home in Portugal. The staff is super inviting and knowledgable about the menu. When I am missing home, this is where I will come every time I need my 'comfort' food.
If you want a real Portugal experience...this is where you need to come! It's a must

The owners are very nice and the dishes are good, but they have a chalk board instead of menus. I understand that this is the 'traditional' way of doing things, but it's not a very strong way to start your dining experience when you're told that this is the only menu, and since our table cannot see the board we should take a picture on our phones. Just print some menus!! Also, we were a bit intimidated by the waiter who told us to order at least two dishes each, when each 'small plate' was $15ish or more. My fiance and I were not looking for such an expensive meal the first time we went so we ended up awkwardly having to leave.

Food is amazing and the place it's so cute! Perfect for a date a friends get together or just to go there and enjoy the delicious food! The owner n employs are super friendly!
