The staff and curriculum is the best I have come across and I've visited many schools. Hence, my son was enrolled in three schools prior to Bright Horizons Lyndhurst (trying to find the perfect fit) and this school knocked them all out of the box. I commute from downtown JC just to offer my son the best start possible (note: I work in Hoboken)
The teachers genuinely care about your child and have more patients than I can explain.
My son comes home talking about the teachers, his friends, he counts, can sing his ABC's, recognizes letters and words, can navigate throught the computer and so much more.
I just wish the school went up to grade 8....I guess you can't have it all.
If you are thinking about putting your child in this center...think no more...I guarantee, you won't regret it!

I have a toddler and a pre-schooler in Bright Horizons at Copper Ridge since September. I cannot say enough about their teachers - Jamie & Amber (toddlers) and Amanda & Abbey (pre-school). The are so loving and really care about my children and their development (and kindergarden-readiness). I looked at MANY daycares/preschools all over Bergen & Essex counties before I chose BHCR and I am very happy with my choice. Additionally, the set-up of a Bright Horizons school is very reassuring - I am given lesson plans every week and sheets every day which describe, in detail, my childs day; and the administration and staff are very accessible. I am able to stay with my child as long as necessary at drop-off and can contact them, via their teachers, during the day if they are having a hard time (which is happening less as they get used to school). The school itself was designed as a daycare/preschool, so the environment is perfect for children. I highly recommend BHCR.

My son started to go to Bright Horizons in Lyndhurst, NJ in June 2007. It is his first time going to Day care. He had a tough time to get adjusted to the new place and new people. But the Staff over there are really wonderful. I would like to say thank you to each and everyone, especially to Joanne and Amanda for the Patience you have with my Son. They are so caring and loving . Today he is so happy to come to school. Thank you- I feel so comfortable and secure in leaving my child at Bright Horizons. I will definitely tell my friends about this wonderful place.
Once again Thank You .
