Great food, great service, will return

Food was ok. The crab cakes were the only part of visiting this restaurant I could positively remember. On a very negative note, I did find a long hair cooked into my stuffed shrimp. Yuck!

IT'S FIVE STARS BUT IT WON'T POST!!!!We aren't regulars....anywhere...EXCEPT HERE The food is so fresh...no fishy smells and cover-ups....Soooooo clean, and you can see kitchen, the fish you've chosen and rest assured it will be cooked to perfection. Al, owner and chef, and staff check on you to be sure its perfect!!!! always with smiles and genuine concern for their customers. The fish frig in front reminds me of the ocean and you can take out or eat in. Name an oyster, crab or clam and Al knows it like a famiy member. Tonight my husband had a whole bronzini...huge and melted away from bone. My dover sole, was like butter and the price more than fair for the freshness, size and taste. We will be back next week-end and the weekend after. Don't let the store front look fool you....we eat at the best in NY......this is equal in taste and you can wear sweats if you want....BYOB and ENJOY i

The first thing I noticed was that their deli-style restaurant, with a long counter and a few well-set tables, was immaculate. The next thing I noticed was the lack of any fish smell. I picked up fresh salmon tonight, for my husband and I to attempt cooking it for the first time. The owner's recommendations on how to grill it were perfect, as was the Cajun spice. Friendly, helpful service from both of them, and great fish! It turned out better than some restaurants I've eaten in (and since we had no prior experience grilling fish, I'll attribute that to the quality of the Scottish salmon). We'll definitely be back, maybe next time to stay for dinner.
