For what it is, it's great...a neighborhood pub with good grub, cold beer and friendly service (another reviewer says the bartenders can be gruff - in a good way but I sit in the restaurant section and the waitresses are all very nice). When it's busy, it's also VERY noisy.

For a local watering hole, Bravest has a nice cozy vibe, good food and drink specials and an awesome staff. There's always a solid crowd here just about any day of the week (reminds me of Keats to that regard), plenty of TVs to watch the games, and there are lots of places to sit if you're not interested in crowding the bar. I have yet to eat here but the menu and advertised specials sound good in print!

I did not eat here. I was waiting to pick someone up from the hospital and stopped by for the happy hour to kill time. $3 drafts are insane for NYC. I'm used to paying more than twice that in the village.
