Brasserie

I live in Closter which is about 10 minutes away and if I ever crave a good burger and some French Onion Soup I head straight over to Brasserie. The burgers are excellent and so are the fries. The French Onion soup is the best in the area. They also have great breakfasts which I have had quite a few times. Good food, descent prices and close to home...

Amazing food, lovely service and cute environment. The warm mini donuts are to DIE FOR. the choice of teas is excellent. the servers are absolutely charming! Definitely will be returning.

I am completely disgusted by this restaurant. I frequent brasserie almost every week and have been really disappointed lately. The straw that broke the camel's back was tonight when I STOPPED IN TO PICKUP A SALAD AND WAS HANDED A BAG WITH SOMEONE'S LEFTOVERS. When I called the place they told me I took the wrong bag. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. This place sucks and I am never going back!

Always an enjoyable evening

My first impression is that the restaurant looks quaint and the menu seemed decent, but that is my only positive feedback.
We ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was rubbery, but edible compared to the main course. I ordered the JUMBO shrimp which were actually 5 medium sized prawns (and I do believe I am being generous by saying medium) for $14 which was clearly not what was listed, but sadly that was not the worst part. There was an awful smell coming from the prawns themselves and the pathetic looking mango medley at the center of the dish was still frozen. My husband ordered the sashimi tuna salad which was tasteless and it too had frozen bits of mango all throughout.
This place is definately not worth visiting.
