This place is no help I got two stray cats one is a healthy 3 year old her name is Luna this year I found a newborn stray her name is Jupiter she was going to die in a car and rescued her they are a bundle of joy however there is a new born stray cat the keeps crying in my backyard and it breaks my heartwarming I hear her cry. Now I have the decision to find the loving furry friend a new home so I made a choice I stumbled across this page I gave them a call and the lady was very cold I explained to her the situation she showed no compassion and told me they cannot help me with my situation just because she is a street cat. What a world we live in.

are truly saintsThe most loverly people with a wonderful attitude. They accepted two cats that were left abandoned due to heir owners death. I gave them a small unsolicited donation. They had their Vet quickly examine the cats and they were immediately put up for adoption . The people at BQE are truly Saints.

Indispensable for the responsible pet owner. This isn't a store: it's a community, and I'm grateful they're around. I particularly appreciate how you can donate extra supplies that your pet can't use or doesn't want, and after giving you their profuse thanks they'll give them to pets in need.

Visited back when it was called BARC, but this no kill animal shelter is phenomenal. I've been a few times to walk dogs and help clean the shelter for corporate events and each time it was a great, gratifying experience. Walking the dogs is very rewarding and the location is great as they are near a park which allows for relaxing, stress free walks. Watch out for other aggressive dogs, but all the citizens here are very well behaved. Great place with very knowledgeable staff that can make picking out a new family member very easy.

I came to volunteer here with a big group and had a great experience walking dogs to the park. Some people got to walk the dogs (one at a time) and some got to play with cats and groom them. This shelter is pretty popular in terms of volunteers, my guess is because you mostly play with the animals and make them feel happy and healthy, and don't really have to clean the shelter. Also, they let the dogs and cats out of cages, which is great for animals. So this is also a great place to adopt from as you know animals are given enough care.
