Booth Movers

It is not too often I write a review to provide feedback on services provided.
However I was compelled to do so after having such a fantastic experience with Booth Movers these past few weeks.
Both Fred and Christine provided excellent service throughout the whole process-from my initial call to Christine inquiring about the company services, to Fred coming to our house and providing the quote, the quality of service was both friendly and very professional.
You always hear horror stories about movers damaging items and showing little regard for owners property.
Well, Edwin and his crew completely shatter that myth. I can’t say enough good things about Edwin and how he managed the whole process.
He has a work ethic I have rarely seen in someone-he did not waste any time having his crew get to work while he loaded items on/off the truck with both care and precision.
You would know that he is a seasoned professional in the business given the way he utilized every inch of available space on the truck.
He was extremely accommodating on all matters and it was very evident that he takes great pride in his work.
His team of Jorge, Pedro, Norberto, and Danny took great care both loading and unloading our items working in an efficient manner even as darkness fell during the unloading process.
I am happy to report that not one single item was damaged during the move-a true testament to the quality of service provided by Edwin and his crew.
Booth Movers are very fortunate to have such a hardworking and professional group of people working for their company.
I have posted this review so that people can get real feedback on the outstanding level of service that was provided.
Thank you very much for making our relocation that much easier.

THIEVES:

This started poorly and ended poorly. I chose this company based off the good reviews and was sorely disappointed. I spoke with George and told him a day I wanted to move, after confirming with him weeks before he said it was all booked a few days prior to my move so I had to reschedule my flight a day earlier. Three men showed up who were supposed to have more than enough boxes, at the end they were too few and I had to go to home depot myself to pick up three more.

The guy packing the glassware on the stove leaned against the pilot light and started a small fire which he put out in my sink and left for me to clean up. No damage to the apartment but still, thanks for leaving burnt packing paper in my sink.....

I sent a few emails about the status of my shipment and was promised updates that I didn't receive until my wife had to personally call from a different number.

Some of my items that they helped pack at the end of the day were my TV, PlayStation, Wii among other items. They also packed a bag containing my sunglasses, watches, and pocket knives........

This was February 24th, my belongings arrived yesterday March 11th (A long wait). Most of the bags have been opened as they were savvy enough to leave all bags I had stored in boxes unzipped and opened. The PlayStation was removed from its original packing, the associated games are missing from the PlayStation and Wii as well as my watches, sunglasses, and knives. They left plugs in the TV that are now broken inside that will have to be replaced. They broke my wife's jewelry nightstand and her portable steamer. We are missing a shelf to our bookcase. I have yet to go through everything else so I am sure the list will grow. I am filing claims with the company as well as the BBB and will see how this is handled and follow up.

TLDR: They stole and broke my belongings and it took a long time. We will see how this is handled.

Just moved in yesterday. After our move my wife and I were both thinking the same thing - we need to thank our new friends in writing. THANK YOU so much - Edwin, Ruben, Eddie, and Santiago. I would totally recommend them and I will recommend them for sure. BTW-My wife has nicknamed them the "FAB FOUR.' Also we want to convey that wet truly appreciate the transparency from Booth directly - prior to our move as well as during. Oh yeah one more important thing, extremely fair as far as the pricing is concerned .

I believed the reviews I received about Booth Movers and made my decision to use them based on highly favorable recommendations. My move was in two phases. The first phase went well; the second phase was something else.
The move into my new home was essentially unsupervised. Pieces were missing [like the glass top to my coffee table] or broken [like the garden bistro set]. Nothing of substance was done to remedy any of these situations.
I would not recommend this company since I believe they treated me in a less than honorable way.
