I went to buy a specific discontinued phone (LG Marquee) and they happened to have it. To make a long story short, the young man who was managing the store is the worse sales & customer service representative on the planet.
- their credit card machine wouldn't process my debit card. I had plenty of money to cover the transaction. I mentioned something may be wrong with the machine. He replied with a sarcastic remark.
- he was on the phone with a girl almost the entire time.
- he never got the machine fixed. he asked me to go to the store next door to make change for him.
I ended up buying the phone there because I didn't want to wait to to rder it and get it in the mail. Overall, I will never forget this experience. Reminds me of what it takes to fail at business. Thanks for the refresher.
