Overpriced, you are buying into a brand... I would say that the store does a good job of catering to a certain clientele, but don't know how necessary it all is. Do you really need to buy your four year old a $150 stuffed animal? Call me frugal but I think that money could be spent elsewhere.

Marc Jacobs book store on Bleecker street. A nice little shop with a lot of cool stuff. Got a great selection of art books and photo books. It is a little pricy but it is worth it if you live in another country. Love the street and all the shops on it.

If I could buy everything in any one brand and not look at the pricetag, it would be Marc Jacobs. I have a few things by MJ that I love. A basic black dress, made unique with a zipper accent and trim. Their pants work well for a corporate environment. Their bags are very distinct, though sadly not usually found on sale.
