Bombshell Hairdressing

I just had my wedding hair trial with Jennifer and she was excellent! From the start, she was extremely professional and knew exactly what I was asking for. She was patient, sweet, and very talented. She had great suggestions and her expertise is evident. I would highly recommend her for any bride looking for the perfect hair style for their special day.

I'm reviewing Bombshell Yoga and Wellness Studio on the second floor, right above House of Bombshell hair salon on the first floor.

Gorgeous studio with an owner who does everything from the heart. It is truly a heart- and soul-fueled wellness business. And how lucky I was to get to know it! Upstairs is the lovely yoga area, where I took a class with Ashley. Ashley is such a powerfully intuitive and passionate healer. I left the yoga session feeling amazingly sure of myself and ready to conquer the problems I came in with (I began the session with the intention of letting something go). I also had a reiki session with Ashley and I loved it so much! Wow, this was only my second reiki session ever and it was powerful. I felt like I left my body, I had a lot of visions and when I came back, I felt refreshed and renewed. Ashley really listens and gives generously from her heart. If you are looking to use your body to heal, this is your place and this is your girl. I also like that the studio gets involved in many community events, including events for domestic violence survivors. I look forward to going again!

Big plus: downstairs there is a hair salon, also beautiful, and also part of the same business. It is run by Jason who is an amazing colorist and hairstylist. I did not have the opportunity yet to get my hair done but I will next time, as I have seen his work (just take a look at Ashley's beautiful hair). The connection between the yoga/wellness studio and hair salon is to nurture beauty from the inside out. So you go upstairs first to do yoga and reiki and then you can go downstairs and get your hair done. I love that at Bombshell you can see the beauty industry, which has a reputation for being superficial, aligning itself with a holistic wellness and yoga studio so as to nurture beauty from within as this is the true fountain of every person's beauty. I never thought to see these two industries work so closely together but here they do, and they do it well. It's refreshing to see this combination. It's a novel concept and I'm excited to continue going there.

I also like that Ashley embraces and totally OWNS being a bombshell and being a yogini. Yoga does not necessarily mean we never wear makeup or that doing so makes us superficial. The art of making yourself beautiful outside with makeup and hair can also be a sacred and empowering act. You choose what to emphasize with where you put your makeup, you choose how to design your hair, you transform yourself, you praise your body by decorating it. Seeing this yoga studio and hair salon working together to develop a holistic beauty from the inside out really makes me feel empowered and free to be me, with and without makeup. Cheers to everyone at Bombshell for this beautiful new concept in the wellness industry! I look forward to many more visits!
