Terrible experience! I work near here and came in to get four pairs of pants hemmed. The guy assured me he knew what he was doing, but the pants themselves turned out terribly! He totally messed up a simple hem! Rough, ugly, handsewn stitches that showed on the outside. Worse, every single pair was around an inch too short! Completely amateurish. Even worse, he tried to charge me 12.50 per pant! I go to Nelson's, on the LES, which charges 4 to 5 bucks for an excellent, perfectly measured, speedily rendered, invisible hem job. Just ridiculous. this guy may know about African dresses, but he's no man's tailor.
