Bogey's Sports Pub

I love giving back to small establishments and often am rewarded with wonderful dining experiences. On this Saturday night I was disappointed. My husband and I went to see a band, we knew from back in the day, at WPC. We arrived to a empty dining room , and sat ourselves in the dining room.....We were never greeted, never given menus and sat for approx 5 min before the server stopped by and asked if we needed menus. We order and the food was standard...no complaint...friend stopped by and proceeded to push chairs around the table. One ordered an appetizer and a few drinks, when after about 15 minutes ~ sadly they needed to leave when their son felt ill. He asked for a check and the server proceeded to give him the check for the whole table which included our dinner as well. This was so awkward.~ Not only did this shock us, she proceeded to put a 20 % gratuity on the check ( they were squished about our table and they were there for 20 min) The server NEVER stopped by the table to ask if we needed refills . She was NOT a happy person, She ruined our night and the 1 1/2 hr ride home, was something to be remembered. Thank goodness for the band ~ it was great seeing old campus friends however there will be NO next time at this neighborhood establishment!

They recently mopped the floor with what seems to be a 40 year old musty mop. Not the best scent. Good was decent. Service was terrible even though no one was there. Looked nice enough inside.
