Great fried chicken dinner and chicken sandwich. Fries and onion rings are a must. Friendly, helpful staff.

The fried chicken is terrific and the collards will blow your mind; little chunks of bacon and a smokey flavor go a long way. I've been twice this week. Check it out; you won't be disappointed.

I order the Fried Chicken Supper and have been consistently impressed by Bob White's chicken - some of the best fried chicken in New York. The chicken is well-seasoned, but not overly so and cooked to order - so it's the right mix of crispy and moist. Friendly staff and intimate space make for a wonderful and relaxed meal.

I don't know how many friends I've told about this place using the phrase "Best damn chicken in the city," but it's a lot.
Great prices, cozy atmosphere, and short menu make this a no-brainer when you know you want chicken.
Also, the collared greens - don't miss out.

Food:
- Very good fried chicken. Nice crisp skin, not battered; and very moist meat.
They give you 3 random pieces. (I happened to get 2 drums and a breast; and my friend got 2 thighs and a wing)
- Biscuit was a bit too oily and not fresh baked, though went at 5pm (avoiding crowd) so maybe during more popular hours it's fresher.
- Slaw is rather shredded, not vinegary and a little mayo.
Ambiance:
The place is half bar, and then there's high tables as well. Place seats about 30.
