Hired BoatMax to sell my boat. There was no interest in it for some time, and I became suspicious - so I advertised it myself on craigslist. I came to find out from prospective buyers that they tried emailing and calling BoatMax with no reply whatsoever. Also, the price that BoatMax set my boat at was much higher than the going market value, essentially scaring buyers away. I sold it in 2 weeks when I advertised it myself on craigslist -- which is free.

Is a bunch of illegal immigrants who vandalize and steal boats parts. I have brought my sailboat to this place and I have many regrets from doing so. Talk to the other marinas on the area and Boat Max is not recommended by anyone who has come across them.

This marina is very bad, my anchor was stolen and the owner and his employees laugh and undermine the issue. I never seen a marina so poorly manage, no security cameras , when I sign for the storage of my boat I was told a security guard was there around the clock, when I called the police for the theft complain the owner disclose the only security is them at office hours. Anyone can board vessels and nobody says anything. STAY AWAY from this place.
