Fun environment and great to be drinking in the outdoors/indooors. Partially roofed to avoid showers. Try and get a table on the deck if you can and its nearing sunset, you won't be disappointed. Simple service and setting but lots of fun. One of my UWS staples

Really nice beer-garden overlooking the hudson.. It gets quite crowded in the summer (and rightfully so!) but it's great to go in groups or to watch sports.

Went there with a group of friends. Were waiting for a table for an hour only to see other people be seated before us. We were finally seated outside but it started raining. We were moved to the tent area only after saying that we were going to leave. We had to move AND DRY OFF our own chairs and tables. The bill was dropped off on the table BEFORE we finished eating. We didn't put the tip on credit card because we always tip in cash, that's when the waiter (who was not ours) came over saying, "Really, this is unbelievable. This is how people make a living." This obnoxious statement was followed by, "Don't you ever come back here." Don't worry, NEVER AGAIN.

Simply put.....FUN....Fairly priced, fair food, great service, on the water with great views. What is to complain about? Go & enjoy yourself !
***No vehicle parking...Take a cab..The cab will drop u under the Henry Hudson Parkway @ 79th St..Walk down the foot path and whoop it up !
