Blue Ribbon Sushi

Fantastic. Very off the grid place. Walking by you'd never know it was there. Close and quiet and great decor. Staff was fantastic and offered great suggestions. Definitely will eat there again.

This is not like the other Blue Ribbons. It is small and intimate. The food is great and they have a nice selection of sake. Great place for a late pleasurable dinner.

This place is a little tricky to spot, but worth a trip. Clean, simple decor. The prices here have a pretty wide spread. I grabbed a lunch platter for about $15, but a single Otoro piece can go for almost that much. However, I get the feeling it would be worth it.

Not only have you never carded me, which is quite impressive as I look 16 when not in a suit, but the sushi has always been fresh and the drinks, just right.

Going for happy hour always bodes for a good time, where my favs include the rum punch, the newly added scorpion punch (HUGE! my friend ordered it without noticing it serves 4... that's ok, as its quite delicious- both fruity and a great aftertaste. strong too), the martinis...) and the decor is pretty as well.

Prices aren't too far-fetched. Ideally, I'd like to not drop 10-12 for a cocktail, but it's Union Square. Kiss of Fire rolls are possibly my fav. with the little slices of jalepenos on top. Yum! We ordered 4 special makis last night and inhaled it all within 5 minutes. My friend took before & after pictures to document our hunger.

Best sushi I've had in a long time. I ordered a reasonably big sashimi plate, and it was very late at night, near their closing time at 2 am. Staff was very friendly and the sashimi was fantastic. It was not cheap, but it was worth it.

Now if only they'd open a place in South Florida!
