Blue Note needs truth in advertising: Saw Roy Hargrove on 8/6/2016: he hardly played a lick, sat a stool all night while his band played around him--behind his large dark glasses he was clearly in another place, another planet, from the moment he stepped on the stage. Today i see on google he has had serious drug problems for many many years. Blue Note must know this, but the full room of course generates $. And the food was less than miserable at high prices as well: dry dry dry ribs, overcooked fish, etc.
