Blue Bay Inn

It's a very quaint hotel. The decor is very nice, and all things you would expect from a nice hotel are there.
The bathroom in my Deluxe King was small, but very nice.
I'm surprised that people had bad experiences here.

no fitness center.
not extended stay friendly.
no breakfast.
the tv's in the room are from the 90's
no refrigerators in the room (must request, even then its not guaranteed)
no microwaves, anywhere.
not even a coffee maker in your room.
no coolers allowed.
parking is on the street, or a block away in the municipal lot, not over sized vehicle friendly (bigger than a suburban)
keyed doors, no swipe card or wireless entry card that conveniently fits in your purse or wallet, that key gets lost a lot i bet.
walls are paper thin might as well be sleeping in the same bed as your neighbor, 2 doors down.
every room is different, some are much larger or some are super small, some have a balcony facing the main road, some face the construction demolition out back with no balcony at the same price (govt rate)
if it were up to me, i would not stay here again. ive stayed at many hotels all over the world, some hotels make you say to yourself "i wouldnt mind coming back here again"
this one doesn't do that for me.

No parking. I was the first one to check into my room for my job and I got the smallest room out of the entire company. The fridges are so small nothing fits in them. I had to place the fridge on top of one of the tables just to make room. Wifi is horrible can't watch any videos and pages take forever to load. If it wasn't for my company paying the bill I would not of stayed here at all.

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay at the Blue Bay Inn. We found the staff to be unfriendly and impersonal. Considering we stayed the night of our wedding and one additional night (the first night of our honeymoon) we were very disappointed. The room was nice enough and the town was quaint, but this was not the small hotel feel that we were hoping for. We experienced more personal service at the Marriott where all our guests were staying. In the future I would encourage management to cultivate a happier culture and a warm inviting atmosphere.

My Fiance and I stayed at the Blue Bay Inn this past weekend and really, really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the location was convenient to "the wine bar" where we were meeting friends for a dinner party, and the staff was incredible! Parking is in a back municipal lot so you'll need to check in first and then get a parking pass for parking in the back lot.

I actually had an unfortunate incident while I was staying and had to be rushed to the ER the morning we were scheduled to check out. The staff was never forceful about kicking us out of our room and offered us an extra night on the house so we wouldn't have to travel back to CT in a snow storm with my health issues. I truly cannot say enough good things about the resort and staff. Everyone was so sweet and I appreciated their concern more than anything.
