I tried HnR block for the first time and I had the most terrible experience so far. I had a ITIN request associated with my filing and the representatives first filed with an incorrect authorization number which in turn made my application to get rejected. Not to mention, I had to run around from one office to the other. The rep seemed very confused regarding my case and there was a lot of mis-information communicated to me.
Secondly, my state filing got rejected and now I have no idea how to get hold of my rep as the office is closed till next year and the phone numbers dont work and I am only left with a generic HnR block phone number.
Another issue is mis-calculation of my tax return claim amount which came out to be $1000 less than what was prepared by the rep.
Now I am having a lot of trouble to get hold of a rep who could help and The service is just ridiculous.
Please avoid HnR block as its more of a hassle than getting your tax done. So much for the Billions!!
