Dr Pearl Bae knows her craft very well. I came here because of tendinitis or sprained muscle issue in my right torso. I had received a prescription of Ibuprofen and a "muscle relaxer" from a previous physician that did absolutely nothing except for numb the pain at times. When I couldn't even turn over in my sleep because I would wake up in pain, I knew I had to try something different. My friend, Gina, who works at PSE&G recommended Bliss for acupuncture. I arrived in pain and could barely turn-over on my stomach after the 1st round of needles. Then Pearl did a second round of needles and then an acupressure massage. I almost cried and was breathing heavy while she did the massage. Dr Bae was very sympathetic and understanding. She didn't even charge me for the first session. The next morning I woke up and the pain was significantly reduced. I kept feeling much better after the 2nd night and then went back for another round of acupuncture. This time I experienced a lot less pain and kept improving with each session. The acupuncture itself is not painful at all. In fact, it's probably the acupressure massage that makes this place a standout. I'm definitely a believer in acupuncture. This was only my 2nd time ever trying acupuncture. I had tried it previously about 12 years ago for my lower back and it worked that time too. So if you are on the fence, I say give Dr Pearl Bae a try.

I recently completed the reset detox diet that Dr. Bae recommended and couldn't be happier after losing 10lbs in just 9 days! I’m a big food eater with in between snacks and caffeine mixed in but I no longer needed extra calories once I was on and even on the transition period after the reset detox phase.
I was extremely scared of the needles in the beginning but needless to say, I didn’t feel a thing when she put those acupuncture needles in me. I recommend this reset detox to anyone/everyone who wants to lose or even just reset their body to cleanse once in a while to feel rejuvenated and clean your body. The clinician along with the staff are wonderful! Even though the office was listed in Newark, the location of the office is actually within the corporate location between Prudential and PSE&G building where I felt very safe and comfortable.

Before visiting the Clinic, I had a difficult time moving my neck and shoulders. After 2 visits my neck and shoulders feel much better.

For more than two years here in Edison, Dr. Pearl has provided me and my wife the best treatment and managed care for our chronic back, body stresses, aches and pain. She is an amazing acupuncturist, a most caring doctor and wellness practitioner. We will truly miss her!

Dr Pearl Bae is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever gone too. She is skilled in many treatments including detox and others. I was very sorry to see her leave Bliss in Edison but I am excited for everyone in the Newark area. Bliss is cost effective and very clean. Dr. Bae is outstanding. I highly recommend you try her and receive the relief and treatment you have always loved for!
