I wouldn't go as far as to say that this is the best pizza in the world like they claim, but it was pretty darn good! I don't tolerate salt very well and a lot of pizzas are obviously very salty. This one, however, was just the right balance of all of the different flavors without being overly salty. The mozzarella is evidently very fresh along with the basil and tomato sauce. From the first bite, it's obvious that the sauce is not store bought but is made fresh in-house which is surprisingly rare in this day and age. The place itself is very small but has such a nice, homey feel to it. If you're a pizza aficionado I highly recommend making at stop here at some point when you're in NYC!

One of the best pizzerias around in NYC. Was one of my favorite spots when I worked in The Village a few years ago. A nice balance of sweetness and saltiness to the sauce, with lots of cheese.

This place went to crap since Bledi left they still have the sign from 10 years ago saying best pizza in nyc lol ....sad

Amazing place, I recommend this pizza place. I went to New York for the first time couple days ago for my sisters proposal and we were with 9 people and it was the best pizza we ever ate. They had great customer service.

It's a little more expensive than the dollar a slice pizza place but this is a solid place to get a pizza by the slice. There's not much of a waiting time and there is some seating in the restaurant as well where you can enjoy your slice(s). I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting or living in New York and wanting to try out a good New York style pizza by the slice.
