Bob Harris is a great guy and always take the time to help you with any needs! I come from Queens, NY for all my cycle needs.

Here's all you need to know about Bob at Bikeworks. I brought in my 20 year old Pro Flex mountain bike because I thought both tires were leaking. When I came back in a couple of days (my choice to wait so long), Bob explained that tires naturally lose a little air over time. He said he tested both tires, and there were no leaks. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said "No charge". I was so impressed I bought a bike pump from him. Going back today to buy a new Specialized mountain bike, and Bob insisted I try two different sized frames to get the right fit. Excellent customer service is not dead in America. Thanks Bob.

Bob is a super knowledgeable mechanic and a great business owner. Never anything less than pleased! The only one who doesnt like Bob is my wife, cause she manages the money and I keep trying to give it all to Bike Works!

I think if you need to buy a bicycle on Long Island you would be crazy not to go to BikeWorks.

I have been living in this neighborhood for 27 years.I am also an avid cyclist.I used to use Bob for service.But I have had to go else were do to the 5 bad experiences.Do to him Being local I keep giving him a chance.Not anymore.I finally fond a bicycle mechanic that Is honest and integral,His name is Andreas at Bicycle Repairman 40-21 35Av Astoria Queens close to Northern Blvd He is worth the Trip ! So far I have purchased 5 Bicycles from him.Bobs poor service and price gouging prompted me to write this review

Anybody who finds fault with Bob Harris is a fool. I have been dealing with Bikeworks since 1983. Bob Harris is a great rider, a great mechanic and a great guy. He is extremely knowledgable about all things in cycling. He is very funny and just plain agreeable. Forget the other bike shops on LI -they do not compare favorably. Get over to Bikeworks, you will not be disappointed.
