Terrible, rude service. I was recently in the shop for a small purchase and politely informed the staff that I'd been given the wrong change. Their response was very hostile, basically accusing me of lying. They took the part back, shoved my money back and me, and told me never to come in the store again -- all over a $10 discrepancy. Sheesh, this is no way to run a small, neighborhood business! I later bought the same part at Red Lantern Bicycles down the street, where I got great service and had the part installed free of charge. Skip this bike store, which currently operates with the same management under a different name, in favor of Red Lantern, Bicycle Habitat, 718 Cyclery, or any other of the numerous bicycle shop options in Brooklyn.

Brought my bike there last weekend, had a bunch of work done and couldn't be happier. The mechanic that helped me was very helpful, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this shop.

I bought a wheel here that broke as soon as I left.
They would not refund or exchange it, even though I had a receipt and it was less than 24 hours later. Great location, bad bike shop. I would maybe trust them to fix a flat, but nothing more. Avoid this place ! Brooklyn has enough great bike shops & doesn't need this one. My mistake, lesson learned.

I'm only writing a review to confirm that the other reviews are spot on. These people are minimally knowledgeable about bicycles and are also rude. They horribly overprice their supplies and services and it's obvious they try outrageously hard to sell you things you don't need, mostly by criticizing your bike. He also tried to sell me new tires by saying color tires are more likely to go flat on me? I have Maxxis Re-Fuse Kevlar tires and he was trying to sell me low end Kendas. DONT GO HERE. Bespoke Bicycles and Bicycle Station are in the area.
