Pretty decent LBS...wouldn't bring in bicycle for any major work, but quick and simple repairs/jobs. Also great prices & very honest.

The staff is knowledgeable and they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. They suggest the most efficient and cost-effective solution for whatever your bike has got going on. That is a breath of fresh air. Labor rates are extremely competitive.

This place was a disappointment. Took my bike in for a simple tune up. They said it would be ready mid day tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, I left work early to make it before closing, only to learn upon arrival that they haven't touched it. The worse thing was that the guy was a total dick about it, raising his voice and going off about being around for 16 years. Blah, blah, blah.

I don't like having my time wasted, so I took my bike home and will try to find another shop. I really wanted to like this place cause it's so close to my apartment, but they blew it.

These are the best bike mechanics in the City, as far as I'm concerned. Without my even pointing it out to them, they fixed a problem that other shops whose names you know couldn't figure out. Their prices are so reasonable as to border on the generous. They never try to upsell me, just to make sure I get what I need. I have three different kinds of cycles...one old conventional Italian 7-speed, a Kickbike and a Rowbike. My safety and enjoyment of these babies depends on knowing that they are in good repair. I have total confidence in the fabulous bike nerds (I mean that as a compliment!!!) at Bike Works.
