OHMYGOD. I happens to overhear an ice cream nicknamed Beyoncé or Dirty Blonde. It was pretty organismic.

Best flavors ever: American Globs, Mexican Affogayto, and my favorite the Salty Pimp (vanilla ice cream, dulce de leche, salt, and a chocolate dip). It's a bit pricey for a college student on a tight budget but considering the large portions and delicious flavors, it's worth it. The place is a bit small, so expect to eat outside, perhaps in the nearby Tompkins square park.

Loved this cute little ice cream shop- I had been wanting to try it for years hearing so many good things about it but it was under construction for quite sometime. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there were several people in line- nothing more than a 10 min wait. The girl behind the counter was super helpful and let us try her favorites. I am OBSESSED with the lavender it is so delicious and I can't wait to have it again!

This shoebox ice cream parlor is the second act from the owners of The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck that has been gracing our city streets for several years now.
The ice cream treats are very creative as are the monikers they select for the items. Among my favorites are the Monday Sundae which is a massive cone that has the interior smeared with nutella and them topped with an ice cream twist, sea salt and whipped cream. I also really like the Big Gay Coffee Blend mixed into a vanilla shake.
Bring your patience with you as you stand in line.
