Not really a German beer garden but close enough. The barrel beer glasses are a thing of the past and if they want to go with German tradition get a unique glad for each beer style. Beer is well brewed and tasty. Has the bezel with chicken and they was fine. All in all a good place to meet and hang.

Nice, big place. They got a good range of beers to choose from and the atmosphere is great. Very laid back and cool people around. The food is also nice.

Well-considered but not extensive selection of beers vom Fass, mainly of the German or Bohemian persuasion, in an absolutely gorgeous, pristine, expansive beer hall with bar, beer hall, and four-top seating. A Bock or a non-wheaten Dunkel would add further dimension to the beer list.

Their great house lagers (a golden and a dark lager...the house Witte is brewed by a well-known upstate NY brewery) are brewed by the original Czech Budweiser, Budvar, from Budejovice, which a few years ago told Anheiser-Busch where they could stick their buy-out offer.

My only complaint would be the very high volume of the (typically well-chosen) music. Maybe one corner of this very large place could be reserved as a somewhat quieter spot?
