HORRIBLE NURSING HOME!
1. RUN BY "CENTER LIGHT" A "MANAGED CARE" COMPANY.
2. THEY SHUFFLED MY MOTHER AROUND TO 5 DIFFERENT ROOMS ALL WITHIN 12 MONTHS.
3. ONE OF THE FLOORS WAS A "DEMENTIA" FLOOR AND MY MOTHER NEVER HAD "DEMENTIA", THEY PUT HER IN A ROOM WITH NO BATHROOM SHE HAD TO WANDER OUT TO THE HALL AND FIND A BATHROOM, MY MOTHER IS LEGALLY BLIND, "DEMENTIA" PATIENTS "WANDERED" INTO HER ROOM TOO OFTEN, I FORCED THEM TO GIVE HER A ROOM WITH A BATHROOM... THE ROOM THEY THEN MOVED HER TO I FOUND SEVERAL LARGE DEAD COCKROACHES ON THE FLOOR AT THE ROOM ENTRANCE, ALSO THE AIR CIRCULATION DUCT IN THE CEILING OUTSIDE HER ROOM HAD BLACK MOLD FROM WATER DAMAGE GROWING ALL AROUND IT... I THEN HAD HER RELOCATED TO THE FIRST FLOOR WHICH WAS CLEANER WITH NO "DEMENTIA" PATIENTS WANDERING INTO HER ROOM.
4. I'VE TRIED FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS TO GET HER INTO ANOTHER NURSING HOME.. BUT THE HEAD DOCTOR FALSIFIED INFORMATION ON THE 'P.R.I.' STATING MY MOTHER "IS BIPOLAR".... WHICH WAS COMPLETELY FALSE, CONFIRMED FALSE BY THE PSYCHIATRIST M.D. I PERSONALLY SPOKE WITH WHO TOLD ME "NO WAY IS YOUR MOTHER BIPOLAR"! MY MOTHER WAS REJECTED FROM 3 NURSING HOMES BECAUSE OF BETH ABRAHAM'S FALSE INFORMATION WHICH THEY WROTE INTO THE P.R.I.'s.
5. THEY ARE NASTY AND FREQUENTLY TELL HER TO "GO BACK INTO YOUR ROOM".
6. VERY BAD FACILITY, I AM TRYING DESPERATELY TO GET HER OUT OF BETH ABRAHAM A.S.A.P.!
7. I'VE FILLED NUMEROUS COMPLAINT'S WITH THE D.O.H. DIVISION OF NURSING HOMES.
8. COMMUNICATION IS A JOKE, PHONE CALLS ALWAYS ARE DIVERTED INTO "VOICE MAIL".
9. MANY RED FLAGS INCLUDING SEVERAL SO CALLED "SOCIAL WORKERS" THAT QUIT OR WERE FIRED.
BETH ABRAHAM IS A NIGHTMARE!

This place would take you to hell. Worst place ever. They mistreat elderly people like garbage. So sad to see them there. I first time came to visit my friend's mother and the smell of urine was everywhere. The nurse threw her food at her in front of us. I was so shocked that it happened in front of us, I cannot imagining how they treat her if we are there. I understand this field is not an easy job, but you are getting pay. They are supposed to take care of them and not treat elderly like dogs. Elders should get some respect and decency in their life. Also they mistreated my friend's mother and didn't help her to change. She had a huge rash. Hope she gets better and leave this place soon.

I am currently residing in a Long Term Care Facility with one of the worst reputations in the GNYC metropolitan region, Beth Abraham Health Services in the Bronx, New York. It's only too bad I can't render a lower than one star out of five rating for Beth Abraham Health Services Long Term Care Facility, now part of CenterLight Health System, a whole new brother from another mother scam over here.

Sometimes The Care Is Very Bad! I Know Because I Live Here About 10 Years. And Now Is The Real Prision For Some People They Cancel That Day Pass To Go At The Street 4 Pass Montly By 2 Hours.. Is Very Very Ridiculous... JTF....

Staff not communicating with patient. I asked staff to change my mom as she had been in phys. therapy earlier & it was after dinner and had not been changed. Staff's response: "When she was done". I called my mom an hour later after i got home and she still had not been changed. Not to mention the staff who washed her earlier that day washed her private areas first then wiped her face with rag. What is that? What is this healthcare coming to? I know that we live @ a time where humans have very little love & respect. But where is the compassion from a so called health care individual.? I dont get it. HaRay to the staff member who ignored my mom when she asked to please turn off her T.V . You know who u are.
