A pregnant lady got stabbed by a homeless crazy guy at the subway station next door. Nice new hotel but the area is not for the faint of heart. You better speak spanish and I dont suggest leaving the hotel.

"Free Parking" hahaha what a joke. They have about 10 spots, always blocked in by the shuttle bus- good luck finding street parking! Took me an hour to find parking.
Room was nice and clean though. King room is a little tight but not bad. Lots of restaurants nearby (city/street food). We walked down the street and were fine. Walked to Citi Field and back. Close to subway 7 train.

We stayed at this hotel and it was really a great experience.. The staff was very helpful with directions around the city, and willing to print out directions if you needed it. Very clean hotel, this was my 11 year old sons first time to New York and it was great. Anytime we visit New York this is where we will stay, thank you to all the staff at Best Western Plus.
