Very Honest, Professional, Knowledgable and Kind. I took my oldest daughter to Dr. Gorkowitz for a free consultation. Dr. G. did a full set of x-rays and advised to have a few baby teeth pulled to allow her adult teeth to come in straight. My daughter wasn’t completely sure that she wanted braces. Dr. G. sat down with her and explained to her that although she could benefit from braces, that not everyone needs to have perfect teeth and the choice was completely ours. My daughter decided that she was happy with her appearance and Dr. G. never once pushed us to go forward. My second child is currently a patient of Dr. G. and we are extremely happy with her care and her smile!

Dr. Gorkowitz is a fantastic orthodontist. My daughter was born with a protruding lower jaw which her primary dentist informed us may require surgery. Within a couple of years of being under Dr. Gorkowitz's care, her jaw and teeth were transformed into a beautiful smile with no signs of a dominant lower jaw. This was done without surgery! My wife and I were so pleased with his work that my other daughter is a current patient. Within a couple of months, we saw a significant improvement; her crooked teeth straightened out. As a bonus, he is open on Sundays which helps working parents who are not able to take time off during the week. Dr. Gorkowitz is very talented, friendly, skillful and can calm a patient's anxiety. He is very attentive when dealing with my daughters and explained everything to them prior to performing the work. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking orthodontic work.

Using Dr. Gorkowitz as my daughters orthodontist has proven to be one of the best decisions that I could have made. From the very first appointment he demonstrated that not only did care about her appearance but more importantly, he sincerely cared about her feelings and her well being. Dr. Gorkowitz told me that he treats his young patients like he would his own children. That is more than just words with Dr. G. If my daughter had a wire out of place or anything that caused discomfort, Dr. G. would even open the office in the evening and tell us "I'll meet you there". Yesterday I received a check in the mail from Dr. G. that was marked " refund for overpayment". I would have never known about the overpayment. This just shows how honest Dr.G. is. Oh , and the most important thing is; my daughters smile is beautiful. She is happy again when smiling for pictures. Thank you DR. G. I would recommend you anytime!

Dr. Gorkowitz deserves the highest rating both for his excellent skills as an orthodontist but for the amazing manner in which he treats all of his patients with respect.

Dr. Gorkowitz has treated two of my daughters for a number of years. They love going to him because he talks to them like a mensch. Dr. Gorkowitz always speaks directly to my daughters asking how they are feeling instead of speaking to the parents and asking "How she is doing" as other doctors often do. Dr. Gorkowitz also lets them pick out their favorite colors for braces, and tries his best to minimize any pain in a procedure as much as possible.

When accidents happen such as a lost retainer or some wiring getting bent out of shape, Dr. Gorkowitz will schedule an appointment as soon as possible whenever necessary and will often not even charge for these follow-up services.

I highly recommend Dr. Gorkowitz and since I have two more young children plan to use him again in the future, although I hope it won't be necessary ;)
